All patients are required under our contract with NHS England are to be allocated a named General Practitioner. All patients registered at the practice have been allocated a GP. To find out who your GP is please ask at reception, you will of course,still be able to access all doctors working at the practice.

 

To see a Doctor

pen_on_diaryIf you need advice from your doctor, ring the usual surgery number. The receptionist will take your contact details to make an appointment either to see a doctor or speak to a doctor on the telephone. The reception teams will also ask you basic details about your health concern, this is in order to signpost you to the correct clinician, who may not be a Doctor. We have  appointments each day available for booking in advance and the majority of the remainder are bookable for that day.  If all appointments are taken and you feel you need to see a doctor that day, we have a clinic available at the end of each day where you will be offered an appointment be seen by a doctor.  These appointments are for problems that you feel would not wait for an alternative day appointment this is not a drop-in you will need to make an appointment.  We also offer Advanced Nurse Practitioner appointments, in addition our own Practice Nurse has completed a Nurse Prescribers Course for minor illnesses.

To see a Nurse

Our nurse team provide a range of services from taking blood samples to managing stable chronic diseases, such as asthma or high blood pressure, and contraceptive care. Our receptionist will help to find a mutually convenient time for you to attend if you telephone or call into the surgery.
