We are delighted to announce that patients of our practice have started to be invited for the Covid-19 vaccination. The programme rollout is phased to ensure vaccine deliveries, logistics and staffing are robustly implemented and consequently, in line with national guidance, we are only inviting those at high clinical risk over the age of 80 to come for vaccines first. As you can appreciate, this first cohort of patients is a lot of people in our local community that we need to contact. Please be assured that we are working tirelessly to telephone patients who are eligible to make vaccination appointments as soon as they are available.

We ask all of you in our practice community to please be patient and wait for your call. Our phones are incredibly busy with poorly patients seeking medical advice and treatment at this time of year and we must ask that you do not call us to enquire about the Covid-19 vaccination. As more vaccine is delivered, more people from other eligible cohorts will be contacted and invited for vaccination in due course. You may find it helpful to read more information about the Doncaster vaccination programme rollout and FAQs on the NHS Doncaster CCG website:

Thank you all for your patience and understanding whilst our staff work hard to ensure the vaccination programme rollout is a success across the Doncaster South Primary Care Network.
